Style Journal | Pattern Mixing

Hey everyone! I'm a violinist, and for a day of busking in Melbourne city, I decided to try out some subtle pattern mixing. In this look the focal point is my pair of super comfortable high waisted pants which I bought in Thailand.

I think it's important to think about how bold your patterns are on each item of clothing when matching them together. I paired my pants with a sleeveless white top with widely spread black panels. I think that the boldness of the thin black panels on the top and the faintness yet business of the shapes on the pants offset each other well.

To complete my "mixing patterns" concept I wore navy sneakers with small white polka dots to compliment the shape prints on the pants, and a nautical striped bag that nicely matches the thin panels on my top and the overall colour scheme!

  1. Surprising background experienced in everything sentence of this article. I made a decent attempt to get hint about how I could demonstrate substance of this blog. I must say, not much powerful but rather I surrendered every one of my weapons soon after understanding it. Facebook Fanpage
