Not only can going from formal to casual be
easy, you don’t even have to change your clothes. Something as simple as a
plain t-shirt and jeans or black pants can suit any occasion! All you need to
do is switch out your jacket and shoes, and fix your hair differently to change
it up.
Ready for Work
Jacket: Similar Style | Shoes: Airflex
For those who have an office job, or simply like
to look put-together and professional, I’ve paired the white t-shirt and pants with
a blazer. I found this blazer in the kids’ section of a super
cheap market stall in Asia and it managed to fit very well and was quite
comfortable! Finally, you can’t go without the classic black pumps. Not as
comfortable as sneakers I must say, but we have to make some sacrifices!
Cosy and Comfortable
During autumn, getting dressed for the ever-changing
Melbourne weather can be an almost impossible feat. You either over dress for
the afternoon, or under dress for the morning. The material of my olive parka
is thin, but does a pretty good job at blocking out light winds and isn’t heavy
making it easy to carry around when it does get warmer throughout the day.
Going along with a muted neutral colour scheme, I’ve completed the look with light
tan combat boots.
Running Errands
Jacket: Similar Style | Shoes: Converse
This look is the simplest of the 3. I’m wearing
my white converse (once again) paired with one of my favourite jackets – the hooded
denim jacket (it was a gift)! I love that the stitching of this jacket defines the waist, and
of course it’s pretty great having the appearance of two jackets layered without the bulk. This look is perfect for a quick trip to the shops, or last
minute plans to go out.
Have fun!
Nyssa
