Happy Boxing day!
Whether you’re feeling like a little extra
accessorising, or you’re just having a bad hair day, hats are a great way to
stay looking nice. As a bonus, they protect you from the Sun, which is
especially important during summer. Don’t feel like you need to buy multiple
hats just for variety, because there are easy ways to spice up your headwear!
Ribbons – Simply tie a piece of ribbon around
your floppy. This can enhance the colour palette of your outfit!
No ribbons? Use scarves! – I’m not talking
thick winter scarves! If you have a thin material scarf or piece of printed
fabric wrap it around your hat to make it more interesting than a plain colour.
Experimental: jewellery – This option may not
be the most practical, but if you want to embellish your hat with some sparkle,
you can select some earrings and arrange them around your hat, piercing the
studs through the material of the hat (this would probably be best with
material with holes already, like straw or paper hats), or put an elasticated
necklace over the crown of the hat!
